Dates and Updates

Key Dates

  • November 3, 2023: Class counsel's motion for attorneys fees, reimbursement of costs, and contribution awards to class representatives must be filed.

  • December 4, 2023:  All claims must be filed by this date.

  •  December 4, 2023: All requests to opt out of the case must be submitted.

  • December 4, 2023: All objections to the settlement must be submitted to class counsel and the Court by this date.

  • December 18, 2023: Fairness Hearing to consider whether the proposed Agreement is fair, reasonable, and adequate and should be finally approved.

  • January 2024: The settlement agreement provides that the money will be paid into a settlement fund within 31 days after the Court approves the settlement.

Updated: December 5, 2023

Because many claim forms continue to flow in, the deadline for filing claims has been extended to December 31, 2023. The other deadlines remain the same, Including the hearing on December18, 2023,  to consider whether the proposed agreement should be approved.

Updated: December 18, 2023

The Court approved the settlement on December 18, 2023. Click Approval Order to read the full order approving the settlement. The Court also extended the date for submitting claims to March 1, 2024. We expect checks to be mailed at the end of January for persons who submitted their claims by December 31.

Updated: January 22, 2024

Now that the time limit for an appeal of the Court's approval of the settlement has passed, the claims administrator will begin distributing checks in February. More information is available at:  Settlement Payments FAQ
